In order to properly cover a diverse variety of customers ranging from main supermarket chain stores to small mom and pop stores, Malgor & Co., Inc. has well organized sales division that consists of more than 30 persons. Malgor & Co. serves to supermarket chain stores, independent supermarkets, cash & Carries, pharmacies, agricultural products and convenience stores.

Malgor & Co., Inc. distributes an ample array of products throughout the island. These products fall in three basic categories: grocery, non-food and alcoholic beverages. The extensive product portfolio provides the opportunity to reach a large group of customers presently serving over 1,500 accounts.

Within the product variety, over 70 percent of the sales from brands that are proprietary of Malgor & Co., Inc. also, Malgor has special distribution agreements with internationally recognized brands. The brands and/or categories of the principal product line are as follows:

Its success is based on diverse usage focused to drinking as well as cooking. It is ideal for making great sangria. It is a well-established brand that dates back to the repeal of prohibition in the United States. Vino El Pavo and Vino Canario control this wine specialty variety. (16% Alcohol by volume)

MICHELANGELO

Family of wines oriented to consumers that seek lower alcohol content (9%) with light carbonation. Michelangelo is ideal for consumption in social occasions. The brand offers an extensive variety of products such as Lambrusco, Strawberry Kiwi, Peach Passion, Rosatto, Branco to name a few.

DOLCE VITA

Rubietto Dolce Vita is a mild and mellow wine with a distinctive ruby red color. Dolce Vita reaches the needs of those consumers that desire lower alcohol content (9%) with a more sophisticated image, Dolce Vita offers a convenient cork that is easily removed by hand without the need of a corkscrew.

TRES CASTILLOS

Anis Escarchado Tres Castillos is considered one of the best anisette liqueurs in the world. It has been awarded gold medals in two of the most prestigious competitions: Monde selection (Rome 1995) and International Wines and Spirits Competition (London 1996). This product has been hand crafted in Puerto Rico for more than a half century. It is distinguished by the presence of crystallized sugar inside each bottle serving as a natural sweetener. (24% Alcohol by volume)

CAMPANA

Campana is one of the oldest soybean oil brands in the market. It supersedes sales volume in Puerto Rico over other U. S. National brands. Soybean oil is the alternative to corn oil and also, represents a very important product category in this market.

GITANA

Inexpensive line of vinegars focused to price sensitive consumers. Gitana is one of the leading brands in the category, which is offered in various sizes.

SYLVANIA

It is the market leader of household lighting products in the Puerto Rican market. Sylvania offers an extensive variety of products that meets all possible needs. Its products are designed for specific uses such as kitchen, dining room, bathroom, master bedroom, children’s bedroom, home office, living room, etc.

LUMINARIA

Luminaria is one of the leading brands of household candles. It offers a large variety of products that meet many needs such as scented, unscented and special religious motives. Puerto Rico due to its geographic location confronts hurricane season during certain time of the year and candles meet with the basic lighting need when there is electric power failure.

LA ESPAÑOLA

Outstanding Spanish olive oil distinguished by the extra-virgin variety. This company that has been producing olive oil since 1840 that makes them unique with an undisputed expertise. Their integrated production cycle means that quality controls are performed in their facilities under the close scrutiny of professional experts following the quality from the olive tree to the table. La Española has an ongoing Research and Development program, making them pioneers in bringing new products lines to the market.

TAT

Brand with a history of nearly 75 years. Its founder and inventor Otto E. Linck conceived the idea or putting food grade bait, laced with various insecticides, into small easy-handle containers’ which he called “The Ant Trap”, or TAT. TAT offers a full line of effective, economical, value priced aerosol, insecticides. It is recognized for offering industrial quality packaged in retail sizes.

VIVA ICE POPS

An inexpensive product line of ice pops focused as snack for kids. Ice pops that is fun to eat with many fruit flavors. The product is shelf stable and all it needs is to be frozen and is ready to eat.
